PATENTUS registered a trademark of the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students

Date: 18 October 2017

On October 15, Sochi celebrated a solemn opening of the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students, the largest international event aimed at uniting the youth international community, strengthen international ties and increase an interest in Russia. According to the facilitators' assessment, the festival will attract over 30,000 people from 170 countries of the world.

The festival's emblem is a camomile with five multi-coloured petals and a white dive in the middle. By order of the event facilitators, PATENTUS experts submitted an application for registration of a trademark containing the festival's emblem. On October 6, 2016 the Russian Federal Agency for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (Rospatent) granted an authorisation for state registration of the trademark both in the Russian and English languages for all 45 classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services. Just one month later, on November 8 of the same year, our trustee obtained a certificate of registration of this trademark certifying its exclusive right to this image.

By order of the President of the Russian Federation, the trademark of the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students was registered within the shortest possible term — just after two months.

Thank You!
