Long-term legal proceedings for protection of the rights in the utility model of our client - the distributor of automotive spare parts TANAKI - completed with our win in the courts of all instances.

In October 2015, the Arbitration Court of Nizhny Novgorod region dismissed the claims of Zavolzhsky Motorny Zavod, JSC (a member of SOLLERS Group) in a dispute over the protection of the rights in the utility model. In February 2016, the decision was upheld by the First Arbitration Court of Appeal.

Having not agreed with the judicial acts in the case, Zavolzhsky Motorny Zavod, JSC filed a cassation appeal to the Intellectual Property Court.

In June 2016, the Court, upon examination of the arguments of the cassation appeal and the response hereto prepared by PATENTUS lawyers, and having heard the positions of the parties, upheld the decision and the ruling of the lower-level courts.
