The PATENTUS trademark attorneys filed an application for registration of the Candisilk trademark for Aristo Pharma, their client. It turned out however that a similar trademark was owned by L'Oréal.
Instead of going to court, Anna Atyakshina, trademark attorney, initiated negotiations with L'Oréal. A mutually acceptable agreement was reached and L'Oréal granted Aristo Pharma its written consent for registration of the Candisilk trademark. As a result, the client is able to freely use its trademark and expand its business in the market.
This case is an example of successful interaction and may strengthen Aristo Pharma’s position in the global market.
