On June 30, Topfranchise and the Export Support Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan gathered the region's entrepreneurs interested in implementing export activities through franchising to participate in a full-time conference "Franchising Business Administration".
Speakers of the event were able to discuss the key problems of franchising in the current circumstances, the role of Russia and Russian brands in particular in the international market, as well as conduct a mastermind on exporting through franchising.
Dmitry Markanov, managing partner of PATENTUS, took part in the conference and talked about the peculiarities of franchising in different countries. The audience learned about the peculiarities of franchising in the U.S., China, Japan, Turkey and Europe.
Approaches to franchising sometimes vary dramatically from country to country, which makes some countries more attractive for franchising and others unattractive due to the complexity of procedures.
