PATENTUS started February with the opening of the business breakfast cycle in the new year 2023. Having temporarily changed the location, but not changing ourselves, we spent a useful morning in the company of our guests and a guest speaker.
Our February business breakfast was dedicated to disputes on trademark infringement and recovery of compensation. Tatyana Davydenko, Head of the Intellectual Property and Information Center of PJSC Cherkizovo Group, shared her experience in judicial protection of trademarks, and Maxim Volkov, deputy head of the PATENTUS Litigation Department, discussed with the audience the factual and legal grounds for reducing the amount of compensation. The event was moderated by PATENTUS managing partner Dmitry Markanov.
